Down ... hill .. all the way!!!!

The general attitude seems to be that a lot of the parents don't care and the kids don't care .. so that's quite an age group spoken for .. and that the 60s generation were too easy going with their kids and that's when the downward trend started.

My experience is that so many people seem to think lying is fine now .. I think that's why they live in such a detached world .. if you keep on lying continuously how can you possibly live in anything like reality. Then you add a cocktail of drink and drugs to the picture and you get .. the present situation.

I also think that a lot of people want to keep it that way. Society seems to be based on lies .. as long as they're nasty they'll do .. top it up with booze etc and you get the situation as it is.

There are lots of nice people out there but this seems to be the way things have gone.

Now people say what's it going to be like in ten years time if it continues heading this way and quite honestly I think it's going to be quite difficult to stop it. A lot of them seem totally out of it .. but I guess that's where behaviour like that leads you.

It is interesting though cause it's changed from the flog 'em all brigade blaming everything on the kids to much more rational debate .. but I still wonder how much people really want things to change.

Wonder when the next report's going to come out.
