More tea

Well, difficult to know what to think. i've bought a blood pressure machine from Boots to check me blood pressure while I'n using the herbs .. then I can make up my mind myself instead of rfeading conflicting reports.

I take it .. that as things stand at the moment .. garlic isn't meant to bring down blood pressure .. even though it's been said to.

I won't be able to tell all that much cause I have very variable BP .. but I will be able to see if it goes higher or lower and stays there.

How lucky was I too!!! I was looking at the machines yesterday thinking shall I, shan't I and left without buying one.

I came back today and they were half price ... all of them .. and I ended up buying one that was quite a lot less than the cheapest one there yesterday though it wasn't that one.

I had to metaphorically rub my eyes ... lol!!!!

I don't know about the milk .. there seem to be conflicting results as there often are in this kind of test. I'm not sure if this means, whatever the results, that the milk doesn't affect the way the chemicals in the tea work.

I'm not expecting these teas to have the same results as the liquorice tea to be honest ..that was amazing ,.. which is why I'm really going to look in to what I can do. I will stop leaving this kind of tea to brew for ages though ... lol!!! Maybe my tummy will react better. Though I left it a long time this evening and it's fine.

I can remember with a very strong cup of tea one of my aunts made me once the hairs on my arms just stood up after I'd drunk it and I sat there for ages bug eyed. Now this tea isn't having that effect on me no matter how long I leave it. Don't know if she put loads of teabags into a pot of tea and left them there for ages before pouring us a cup. I know she liked strong tea!!! And .. well, me .. I was a water drinking vegan who even avoided paracetamol if I could. T total as well .. in more than one way .. depending how u look at the T in T total I guess.

I hardly spoke for about ten minutes!!!!

I don't know if taking meds has changed my reaction .. though I thought it was the caffeine in the tea at the time. Don't actually know how much caffeine a cuppa has or how much these other teas have .. but I wouldn't've thought it would make that much difference.

And I did take one drug ... chocolate!!! lol!! which has caffeine in it which should've prepared me for the tea if it was all down to the caffeine.`

Possibly could show how different the tea is with different processing and different leaf growth stages though.

I still haven't taken another liquorice tea .. won't at the moment ubless I start feeling really ill from the cold.

Just want to see what happens.
