There's no climate change etc

You really have to read articles with the blinkers off. I was reading an article about climate change which is against the idea of global warming .. maybe .. or, maybe just that they think nothing should be done to halt it.


Because cold affects people much more than warmer climates .. though at the moment due to climate change New Scientist's leader was that the ice is melting much faster than predicted by those studying the change.


The people behind the article were worried that if emissions were cut back and if the planet cooled one day .. thereby saying that climate change did have something to do with human emissions .. lol .. hmmm .. well, never mind. Though, at the same time going on about how no one can agree about whether there is such a thing as human made climate change and Al Gore you better look out kind of attitude.

Then you got the there's no concensus about what's causing climate change .. making it look as if it's a scientific concensus about the mechanics of climate change rather than including the political and economical .. but the group of people at the meeting were a mixture of business people, economists and others as well as scientists.

I remember saying when I first started my blogs .. long gone cause one needed a bit of editing and cross referencing and I couldn't be bothered to do it .. so down it went .. really I should've just left it cause it wasn't really important .. infact would be nice to go back and read now. Well, I said that there would be surprizes and there have been. I've missed some of them but me teas are bringing me back and I'm having a nose around. Didn't miss all the years though at times I was too ill and too tired to really register that much.

Must go and get a cup of tea now. Kettle's on.

But regardless of who's for and who's against you still have to wonder why they feel that climate change mightn't be due to emissions yet worry about cutting them back cause they're keeping the earth nice and cosy and warm.

I don't think anyone's ever said .. well, maybe they have ... kinda figure of speech there .. that they thought that temperatures were going to be constant because people have wondered what different changes to the ecostructure would do to the climate overall and in different areas. But it's warming than has caused these things to happen.

One of their arguments after you get the fact that they're going to contradict themselves because they don't want to let go of the no global warming theory yet need to say that it's happening if reducing emissions is going to change anything .. is that the planet might get colder so we should carry on heating the atmosphere up.

Yes it might .. but look what's happening now and people are talking about a run away scenario where a change in one ecosystem just sets off a chain reaction and trying to stop that.

Is the cooling down to changes in the oceans because of the melting ice will there come a time soon where because of the speed of how things have changed that the cooling will for the most part .. stop.

Will there be another natural cooling time soon. They don't know anymore than anyone else. Think I wrote once that I wondered if collecting carbon and then releasing it could help through colder times but didn't think that it would be easy to release so it might just be a fairytale.
